Renewable Energy Summit will be held in Nur-Sultan

On September 25, 2019, in the framework of Kazakhstan Energy Week 2019, the capital of Kazakhstan will host the III Renewable Energy Summit – an international industrial platform, which will gatherover 300 delegates and speakers from different parts of the world.

According to the organizers, the main objective of the Summit is to discuss all pros and cons of renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of best ideas and effective solutions contributing to the creation of green future of our country and the entire world community.

The project also solves a strategic task to attract in Kazakhstan international developers, investors and suppliers of renewable energy technology, as well as leading specialists from around the world to communicate and share experience.

The organizer of the Renewable Energy Summit 2019 is Kazakhstan’s Renewable Energy Association. It is a non-commercial organization uniting companies interested in the development of green economy. The coorganizer of the event is the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation.

The event will be held in the framework of KazakhstanEnergyWeek 2019 project (KEW-2019), which is implemented by Kazenergy Association with the support of the government of Kazakhstan.

Among the speakers of the Summit are expected Rae Kwon Chung, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate; Member of the Global Energy Prize International Award Committee, Arkady Dvorkovich, Chairman of Skolkovo Foundation, Bolat Akchulakov, Director General of Kazenergy Association, RuslanaLyzhychko, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Ambassador of Renewable Energy, Vladimir Shkolnik, Freelance Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Albert Rau, Deputy of the Majilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Darmen Sadvakassov, Managing Partner of Dasco Consulting Group, and others.

The participants of the forum are expected to discuss strategically important and topical issues of renewable energy development in Kazakhstan and in the world. What is the future of renewable energy: global trends and Kazakhstan’s experience? What financial instruments and investment possibilities of renewable energy development exist in Kazakhstan? Auction sales on renewable energy projects: results and prospects. Rating of the most successful renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan.

The Summit will also include a special presentation of renewable energy start-up projects to potential investors.
