From 23 to 29 September 2019, the city of Nur-Sultan will host KAZAKHSTAN ENERGY WEEK forum and the XII KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, which is organized by KAZENERGY Association.
“The interested state bodies, international organizations and industry companies are currently working on issues of the content of the events and the organization of joint events”, Dameli Bakiyeva, Chief of Protocol of the Chairman of KAZENERGY Association Board, told to petrocouncil.kz.
According to her, a conference on oil refining and petrochemistry of the Central Asia (GBC), a forum of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), a competition in the framework of the KAZENERGY Youth Forum (SEC), a forum of Women’s Energy Club and other activities will be held during the energy week.
“The key event of KAZAKHSTAN ENERGY WEEK will be the XII KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, within which it is planned to hold a Plenary Session with the participation of high-ranking guests.”DameliBakiyeva noted. “A number of panel sessions will be devoted to the development of digitalization in the industry, sustainable development and international organizations.”
It should be noted that there will be two sessions devoted to the Kazakhstani content, which will be organized by the Oil and Gas Strategic Partnership Development Council (Petrocouncil). In addition, the updated program of oil and gas operators for the development of Kazakhstani content will be discussed during the session “Kazakhstani Content: Aktau Declaration 2.0.”.
“KAZENERGY Association and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan resumed their joint work and updated the list of goods that need to be localized,”DameliBakiyeva said.
Session No. 2 from Petrocouncil is devoted to “Development of Kazakhstani production for the needs of the oil and gas industry”.
There will also be a presentation of the updated version of the National Energy Report 2019. A set of events dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s oil will be also held.
At the moment, issues of a qualitative composition of key speakers are actively being worked out.
To date, the list of those who confirmed their participation includes the OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo, the International Energy Charter Secretary General Urban Rusnák, Global Gas Center Executive Director Valérie Ducrot, Romanian Energy Center President Corneliu Bodea, National Oil Corporation Chairman Mustafa Sanalla.
Moreover, preparations are underway for the KAZENERGYEXPO industry Exhibition on “Digital Energy”, the main direction of which is the interactive presentation of information about the activities of companies through the use of a set of virtual and digital technologies.
