Alfa Bank together with Association of the «council of strategic partnership development in oil
and gas industry «Petrocouncil» have signed the memorandum of understanding on mutual
cooperation. The target of the memorandum is the cooperation and coordination in providing
consulting and information services and assistance for Small and Medium Businesses financing,
operating in the oil and gas industry.

Within the memorandum framework, the parties intend to cooperate in several key destinations,
such as financing of business subjects, operating in the oil and gas industry, rendering
informational and methodological assistance. With a view to stimulate and develop the domestic
market, Alpha Bank will provide information on the bank products, and the council will share
information with market participants regarding financial instruments, that will play an important
role in the implementation of state-run programs of Kazakhstan.

This association promotes interests of oilfield services companies and oil and gas operators for
equitable and effective development. The Council was established under the aegis of the
Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and
KAZENERGY Association.
