Petrocouncil congratulates Assylbek Jakiyev, the official representative of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan ‘Atameken’ for interaction with O&G operators and the development of oilfield services on his election to the maslikhat of Atyrau region (regional parliament)

As a member of parliament, Assylbek Jakiyev continues to work on promoting local content in the O&G industry, as well as interacting with major operators as TCO and NCOC. He also plans to continue to provide support to SMEs working on O&G projects in the Atyrau region on various issues.

Assylbek Jakiyev was one of the founders of the Petrocouncil O&G Council. In two years, the Council has become one of the main interaction platforms in the industry where relations have been built with the major O&G operators, authorities, oil MNCs and private sector on the development of local content.
