In the first half of this year GWS purchases from KPO amounted to almost 221 billion tenge, with 40% of them for works, 34% – for services, and 26% –  for goods.

It is important to note that a rapid growth in purchases was observed in 2019, when purchases reached more than 459 billion tenge, an increase of 68% compared to the previous year, while in 2018 the increase to 2017 was only 13%.

If in 2017 the share of LC in GWS was at the level of 54%, then this year this indicator is 60% as in 2018, in 2019 – the share of LC slightly decreased to 57%. It is important to note that the smallest purchase of LC falls on goods – from 10% in 2017 to 22% in the current year, the largest in services – 67% in 2017 and 79% in the current year, and in works similar indicators – 59% in 2017 and 69% at the end of the 1st half of 2020.

Moreover, from 2017 to 2019, the growth of purchases of GWS, in general, in absolute terms reached 91%, while GWS LC increased by 101%, of which LC goods showed the greatest increase – by 263%, works – by 124% and services – by 80%.
