Kazakhstan factory with support of NCOC received international quality certificate

North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) representatives in a solemn ceremony handed in API (American Petroleum Institute) certificate to Karlskrona LC AB Kazakhstan factory.

As the company press service advised “thanks to hard work of  NCOC team Karlskrona LC AB LLP” and American Petroleum Institute (API) consultants on local content two years project in API standard implementation was successfully completed. As a result of ceremony held in Nur-Sultan city “Q1 specification certificate was handed to factory representatives”.

KazArmatura Temirtau factory received similar certificate comparatively not long ago.

“Companies having such specification demonstrate to their clients that enterprise products correspond to the last industry requirements in the field of  heavy industry”, – they said in NCOC.

Implementation of API standard means for Karlskrona LC AB an increase of the company competitiveness at national and international levels, confirmation of quality of products, services and of company professionalism, improvement of enterprise image. Also the certificate provides the opportunity of participating in state, municipal, commercial bids under more profitable conditions and receiving of orders from foreign companies.

Karlskrona LC AB has been operating at the market of  Kazakhstan since 2003, offices have been opened in Almaty and Shymkent cities. There is partnership network all across the territory of the Republic as well as in Russia and countries of Central Asia. The staff number amounts to more than 250 persons. NCOC pointed out that the factory has excellent potential of  becoming a contractor in Kashagan project.

“Confirmation of compliance with American Petroleum Institute standards speaks of professional competence and high technical level of factory personnel. And I am glad that our North-Caspian project being the largest project in Kazakhstan with involvement of direct foreign investments has helped the enterprise in certification according to API international standard making significant contribution into development of economy and providing possibilities for deployment of domestic companies’ capacities”, – said NCOC deputy managing director – Yermek Marabayev.

American Petroleum Institute is a USA national non-governmental organization, which takes world leading positions in standardization of petroleum equipment. Standards proposed by this organization are recognized by all oil and gas companies in the world.
