Nurlan Nogaev was appointed as Energy Minister of Kazakhstan

Ex-akim of Atyrau region, Nurlan Nogaev has been appointed as Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan.

Makhambet Dosmukhambetov was appointed as akim of Atyrau region. Before, he work as first deputy Minister of Energy.

The former Minister of Energy, 50-year-old Kanat Bozumbayev, who headed the department since March 2016, earlier was relieved and was appointed as assistant to the president of Kazakhstan. According to the spokesman Nurlybek Zhenisbek, Bozumbayev left his post of minister for health reasons.
