TCO and APEC will train experts to work at the Future Growth Project in Tengiz

In Atyrau Kazakhstani personnel are undergoing training to work at Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) Future Growth Project (FGP) located in Tengiz field, reports the Department for Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the Atyrau Region (UKZSP).

According to the agency, under the arrangement reached during the meeting with the regional governor Nurlan Nogaev related to socio-economic development of the Atyrau region for 2019-2020, TCO planned to train 350 people in 2019 and 700 people in 2020 to work at FGP.

In the current year, it is planned to train 50 pipe fitters, 50 welders of construction materials and the same number of assemblers of reinforced concrete structures, 60 construction electricians, 70 slingers and 70 scaffolders.

The candidates will be selected in Atyrau, in Zhylyoi, Makhambet and Isatai districts. The residents of Kurmangazinsky district will take the test organized in Akkistau village, and the residents of Inder district – in Makhambet village.

The selection of candidates for training in 6 various fields has started in Kulsary on September 2. The TCO representatives, the instructors of “APEC PetroTechnic” College and the specialists of the Department for Coordination of Employment and Social Programs participated at the event.

Based on the results of the exam it is scheduled to train 350 people and to improve their qualifications so that they can get the opportunity to find a job at FGP.
