The Novus-Bolashak shared information about the current status of FGP commissioning project and upcoming plans. The company is a general contractor with Kentech for the commissioning of Tengiz FGP project.

The main subcontractors have already been identified. Earlier, Petrocouncil raised the issue of attracting Kazakhstani companies to commissioning projects as subcontractors. With the support of FGP Deputy Project Director Yerbol Zhumagaziyev, as well as the Kazakhstani Content Department, Petrocouncil organized a meeting with Novus where other associations also took part in order to provide information on the status of the project.

The mobilization in Tengiz is underway. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2023. The main electrical installation work will be carried out with the participation of Kazakhstani specialists. The target for local content is 72%.

The Novus-Bolashak joint venture was established in 2016.
Petrocouncil will continue to work with the company in the remaining areas where it is planned to attract local subcontractors.
