Three large fields of Kazakhstan produced over 31 million tons of oil

According to the results of seven months of 2019, Kazakhstan produced more than 52.23 million tons of oil and condensate, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported on Tuesday.

“The volume of oil and condensate production for 7 months amounted to 52.23 million tons – 101.2% of the plan. However, this is 98.7% compared to the same period last year,” said NurlybekZhenisbek, head of the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

According to him, the decline in oil production is predicted, and it was due to repairs at three large fields.

At the same time, the three largest fields: Tengiz, Kashagan and Karachaganak – produced 31.6 million tons of hydrocarbons over the past seven months.

“Kashagan – 7.2 million tons, Tengiz – 17.5 million tons, Karachaganak – 6.9 million tons,” said the representative of the Ministry of Energy.
