Petrocouncil presents the Rating of TOP-50 Kazakh young leaders of O&G under the age of 35.

Over the years of Kazakhstani independence, a new pool of young energetic leaders has emerged, making a significant contribution to the development of the domestic O&G industry. All of them are of the same age as independent Kazakhstan.

For a certain time, a commission of 18 well-known experts in O&G has been preparing this rating. The selection was carried out according to such criteria as work experience, recognition and contribution to the development of the industry. According to the voting results, the first place was awarded to Zhakhmetova Zhanat, Vice Minister of Energy.

She is working to digitize the entire oil and gas industry. Among the nominees, 46% represent O&G companies (operators), 32% represent SMEs, 14% represent authorities and 8% represent business associations. More than 50% of young specialists have various degrees from Western universities.

The purpose of this rating was to identify new faces among young professionals working in the industry and to promote their recognition.

We are confident that these leaders will lead O&G industry in the future.
