The webinar with ISKER Group on the EPCC

Petrocouncil.kz organized a webinar with ISKER Group on the EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning) project for new water treating facilities for North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) October 12th. About 60 Kazakhstani companies from different regions of Kazakhstan took part in the webinar.

Earlier, Petrofac, in a consortium with Petrofac, signed a contract with NCOC consortium for $ 135 million for EPCC project. The 30 months contract includes inlet stream screening to remove debris, feed water tanks with oil skimmer and pumps. Work also includes a clarifier system, including flocculation, treated wastewater storage and pumps, as well as sludge treatment and associated utilities.

The webinar was organized for potential subcontractors. ISKER representatives spoke about the project, which is at an early stage of design. In order to become potential subcontractors, Kazakh potential subcontractors will need to contact ISKER to be reviewed by the contract group as well as to contact Petrofac for design issues.

It was also decided that an extended meeting with potential subcontractors with the participation of Petrofac will take place at the end of this year, where there will be more detailed information on the design of the project.
